Environmental Social Governance

At Capexia we align with the ethos that 'Sustainable Development' is "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."**

However, in an increasingly ESG-focused business landscape, we will continue to develop our ESG Strategy, framework, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure we deliver climate-friendly developments that achieve specified environmental reporting goals and objectives.

ENVIRONMENTAL PURPOSE

We are always mindful of developing land sustainably to protect the needs of future generations.

We are constantly seeking better ways to build and reduce the carbon footprint of the development process.

We fully embrace the net zero targets set by the UK Government.

We will develop, our ESG strategy, policies, and framework to achieve our goals and meet evolving legislative requirements.

MEASURABLE TARGETS

We want to reach net-zero carbon emissions on our projects by 2030 or sooner, ahead of the Paris Climate Agreement which sets 2050 as the target for all member countries.

We are on a path to powering our own operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025 as part of our goal to achieve net-zero carbon developments.

Our ESG strategy embraces the wider targets of social responsibility and governance issues and, where required, will measure and report on our performance.

SUSTAINABILITY AND BIO-DIVERSITY

In addition to reducing the carbon footprint of our projects, we are aware of other important environmental aspects and will, where practical, seek to improve bio-diversity net gain above mandatory targets.

PLANET

We all have a responsibility to protect our planet. Time is running out. At Capexia, we believe that by reducing our development project's carbon emission to zero we will have a beneficial impact.  We will seek to only work with those that share in our mission to do our bit in protecting the environment for future generations. are always mindful of developing land sustainably to protect the needs of future generations.
